Claws esta compuesto por 1 solo miembro en la banda llamado Lasse.
La "Banda" fue formada a principios de agosto de 2008 cuando Lasse queria hacer Death Metal altamente influenciado por la banda sueca de culto Crematory, pero el Crematory del principio de los 90's, y tambien por bandas con ruido sucio y pesado como Darketa, Nihilist, Incarnation, Etc...
su musica es brutal con algunos cambios de ritmo a veces, las guitarras con una brutal y sexy distorcion
la voz es profunda y oscura
y el bajo igual tiene una fuerte distorcion
y solo tienen un solo disco lanzado en 2009 y un EP lanzado el mismo año
